What are Bengal Bucks?
Bengal Bucks are a separate account on your Bengal ID Card that can be used for fun stuff, like sweatshirts, vending machine snacks and beverages, tickets, plus more on campus. You can use Bengal Bucks at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore, campus snack and beverage vending machines, copying and printing at the Butler Library, all campus dining areas and to purchase Rockwell Hall event tickets. Purchases are subject to tax where applicable.
Who can use Bengal Bucks?
Bengal Bucks are available to students (taking classes for credit), faculty and staff.
Why should I use Bengal Bucks?
1. Convenience- Accepted at multiple locations on campus
2. Safety- You don't have to worry about carrying around cash, credit cards or debit cards.
3. No Risk- Bengal Bucks do not expire. Sorry, you cannot receive cash from this account.
4. Saves Time- No need to wait for change, just swipe and go.
5. Coming Soon... You will be able to use Bengal Bucks at off-campus restaurants, shops and more.
How do I get Bengal Bucks?
If you have a meal plan you already have $50 Bengal Bucks to spend.
1. Visit the Bengal Card Office located in Butler Library, Room 108, or load value at the Add Value stations in Butler Library or Campbell Student Union across from the Information desk.
2. A minimum deposit of $5.00 is required to open an account.
3. Start using your Bengal Bucks all over campus.
